    Day 1: Arrive in Munich

    Welcome to Germany! Collect your luggage and meet your private driver for your transfer to your centrally located hotel. The remainder of your day is at leisure to explore the city.

    Day 2: Munich

    Start your day with a private sightseeing tour! Discover this magnificent city with your experienced driver/guide and learn about its history and why the city is known as the Capital of Beer. Sights include Marienplatz Square & Town Hall with its Glockenspiel, Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady), Residence Palace, Nymphenburg Palace, BMW World and many more! Since it’s a private tour, it’s up to you where and when to stop!

    Your afternoon Christmas market food tour will allow you to sample sweet and savory treats, enjoy the festive decorations & glittering lights, with time to shop for handcrafted gifts and souvenirs.

  • Day 3 / 8

    Day 3: Daytrip to Salzburg

    Your train journey takes you through the beautiful alpine landscape across the border to Austria. Meet your local guide on arrival for a private walking tour through the narrow streets and the picturesque old town of this UNESCO World Heritage city. Enjoy the rest of the day exploring the city and its Christmas markets before returning to Munich by train.

  • Day 4 / 8

    Day 4: Munich - Regensburg

    Pick up your rental car and drive to the town of Regensburg, located on the Danube river and known for its preserved medieval old town that was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2006. Your local guide will introduce you to the fascinating history of this wonderful city. Spend time at the Thurn & Taxis Christmas market at St. Emmeram Castle, where craftspeople demonstrate their skills and offer their goods for sale.

    Day 5: Regensburg - Nuremberg

    You continue your journey to Nuremberg, home to one of Germany’s most famous Christmas markets. During your private tour you will learn about the history of the Christkindlesmarkt and why the “Nürnberger  Christkind” is the symbol of Christmas in Nuremberg. Don’t forget to try the famous “Glühwein” (mulled wine) and the “Lebkuchen” (gingerbread).

  • Day 6 / 8

    Day 6: Nuremberg - Rothenburg ob der Tauber

    The medieval town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber captivates its visitors with romantic alleyways, half-timbered houses, and a city wall with numerous towers and gates, just waiting to be explored. Learn more about the city’s history during a private walking tour before enjoying a mulled wine at the Christmas market and visiting the “Christmas Village” in the city center.

  • Day 7 / 8

    Day 7: Rothenburg ob der Tauber - Munich

    On your way back to Munich today, we recommend driving along the Romantic Road with a stop in Augsburg to discover the city and its Christmas market. Return rental car.
