Next you will head to Berlin, the city where the 20th century began and ended. Shaking off its heavy past, today Berlin is fast-changing, lively and fun. Look forward to exploring Berlin’s numerous history-rich sights, including the Brandenburg-Gate, the rebuilt Reichstag, the boulevard Unter den Linden or the Museum Island on an orientational city tour.

Your morning will be dedicated to learning about Berlin during World War II when the city was the seat of the Nazi leaders. See the Reichstag, the Bendlerblock, the former site of the offices and what became of the buildings of Goering, Goebbels, Himmler and Hitler himself – including the site of his bunker where he died. The tour will finish at the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe.

Your journey continues to Leipzig, which has been a trade city for a long time and is a place where tradition rubs shoulders with the zeitgeist.
