Mike is a details kind of guy. He’s the one who, before every trip, has gone over every little thing—times, places, dates, documents—and everything is planned out way ahead of time. And this is exactly what he’s been doing for us since 2017, making sure all of your details are taken care of—someone is there to meet you at the airport, your tours are on the right days and times. He worries about the details, so you don’t have to!

Working as a Retail Manager and constantly moving to a new city or state sparked Mike’s interest in learning about new places, eventually leading to the travel industry. And once he set foot outside of the US on a cruise, he knew he found his calling. What started as planning every detail for his own trip, then later trips for family and friends turned into a new career as a travel agent. And he was quick to take advantage of the perks, traveling to The Bahamas, Bermuda, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Belize, Honduras, Columbia, Panama (through the canal), Costa Rica, Mexico, St Thomas, and St Maarten. He’s got his eye on expanding his adventures to Europe, but New Zealand’s at the top of his bucket list.

In what little spare time he has, Mike works part-time as a bartender on weekends in the beach resort town where he lives because it’s a great way to meet new people. He loves the great conversations he has across the bar with people from all over. And when he travels, he loves to find a “locals” bar, restaurant, or pub away from the tourist areas because he believes you can learn a lot about the culture and the people of the country you’re visiting just by sitting and talking to people. You’ll also find out about the real “must-see” stops, places you can learn more than you ever would on a scheduled tour.
